Top of the First:
Gordon Saunderson grounds out to 1st, unassisted. Perry Templet swings at the first pitch, as he is wont to do, and grounds out to 2nd. Gary Long grounds a double down the left field line. He is hitting tons better than we expected! Jeff Austin lines out hard to left.

Bottom of the First:
Britt Abrams beats out an infield hit. Chris Greenwald doubles to right center. Gary Halbert takes a 3-2 pitch for ball 4 to load the bases up with nobody out. Marcos Barron strikes out. Terry Van Doren swings at the first pitch and bloops a hit to center and two runs score. 2 to 0, Seals. Chip Carpenter grounds into a 4-6-3 double play!

Through 5 innings, that 1st inning double by Gary Long is the only base runner we have had.

Bottom of the Fifth:
Javy Vasquez leads off with a hit and gets bunted over to 2nd. With 2 outs, Chris Greenwald singles him home. 3 to 0, Seals.
