In the bottom of the eighth, with runners at first and second and one out, Steve Foucault took the mound for the Rangers. Terrell hit a two-run double with two out.

Joe Decker took the mound for the Twins in the top of the ninth. Madlock made it a two-run game with a solo home run.

In the bottom of the ninth, with runners at first and second, Darwin flew to center to end the game.

The Rangers got 14 hits in the win.
