Iona set new career bests for batting average and home runs in 2052 as she hit .293 and 30 home runs as Hamilton won the Central Division. However, they were swept by Beaver in the first round of the playoffs, making the second year in a row where they the Vibes left in the first round. This was also Iona’s most valuable season to date as she recorded a WAR of 6.0. While she was still under arbitration, Iona began to wonder about eventual free agency. She enjoyed working under Keesha DeWilliams but as much as they played for the love of the game, she wished they could take her talents a step further.
