Tiebreakers replay

I've been playing a lot of historical exhibitions lately, and that's given me the idea for a project - re-playing the various tie-breaking games (or series) that have occurred throughout baseball history. But instead of single-game or best-of-three playoffs, I'm going to play them all as best-of-seven.

As far as I can see, this gives me a list of:

1946 Cardinals vs. Dodgers - NL Pennant
1948 Indians vs. Red Sox - AL Pennant
1951 Giants vs. Dodgers - NL Pennant
1959 Dodgers vs. Braves - NL Pennant
1962 Giants vs. Dodgers - NL Pennant
1978 Yankees vs. Red Sox - AL East
1980 Astros vs. Dodgers - NL West
1995 Mariners vs. Angels - AL West
1998 Cubs vs. Giants - NL Wild Card
1999 Mets vs. Reds - NL Wild Card
2007 Rockies vs. Padres - NL Wild Card
2008 White Sox vs. Twins - AL Central
2009 Twins vs. Tigers - AL Central
2013 Rays vs. Rangers - AL Wild Card

The rules:
1) Best-of-seven, with home field going to the real-life winner.
2) If a result changes, I'll then have that new winner play as far as they go. For example, if the Rangers win the 2013 AL Wild Card playoff, then I'll have them play the Indians in the Wild Card game...then maybe the Red Sox in the ALDS, the Tigers in the ALCS, and the Cardinals in the WS. However far they go.

First up, 1946 Cards vs. Dodgers
