The Blue Jays are happy with their 1978 Amateur draft results.
We didn't land one of the top echelon players but, we feel we got a steal at #13 in R1 to bring back home one of the organizations in RL best SPs - Dave Stieb. Not even Paul Molitor can hit his slider...
Pretty happy with Jesse Orosco in R2 as well. We need arms to build around our future hitters. One of the downsides of trying to compete early on is you drop further down in the draft pecking order.
