While shopping Donny around for the lulz, I came across a guy that I had to have. He’s not awesome, though he should eventually make the big club. The best part of the trade is that I didn’t have to give up a lot to get him.

I agreed to send 21-year-old minor league RHP Ivey Lochner to the Montreal Impact (why not, they are on their way to town anyways) for 21-year-old minor league RHP Rad Taylor. Your boy Rad is a former Michigan State Spartan with good stuff, good control, and a fastball that should be Major League ready soon. He looks to have 2 pitches that can become MLB worthy – let’s hope he develops a third in Tucson.
