TRADE DEADLINE MOVES:
Toronto kept it pretty simple, trading some assets that weren't being used, to acquire some players that could become free agents at the end of the season.

26, RW; Charlie Coyle | From Minnesota Wild
* His strongest assets are his Goalscoring ability, able to avoid big injuries, he sets an example for his teammates in practice and has above average strength.
*He can play on the first line in a pinch, but is best suited on the second or third line in this league.
*His only weakness really is his physical play.

26, LW; Jeff Skinner | From Carolina Hurricanes
*Skinner is able to adapt to new surroundings without any problem.
*His strongest part of his game is his skating, Skinner is extremely durable and seems to avoid big injuries and can eat up a ton of minutes without wear down.
*Coaches have tremendous respect for Skinner.
*His only weakness is his physical play.
--- Leafs will likely attempt to re-sign him down the stretch as he is an elite player in this league

4th Round Draft Pick in 2019 | From Anaheim Ducks

Parting Ways
26, LW; Scott Wilson | To Anaheim Ducks
Despite being a steal from the waivers, Scott Wilson hasn't been able to crack a very determined and well rounded roster of the Toronto Maple Leafs. When getting his chances, he didn't seem to make expectations and finds himself trying his luck with the Anaheim Ducks.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
29, LW; Tyler Ennis, Rights to 19, LD; Max Gildon & Third Pick in 2021 | To Carolina Hurricanes
Tyler Ennis is one of those guys you don't look forward to saying goodbye too. Despite not being a huge threat, he was a pinch clincher. The only real reason to see him go, was he wasn't too happy with the ice time given. Though when put in a second line role or filling in for first line, his numbers didn't seem to go anywhere. He will be missed, but gets his fresh start in Carolina.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
22, LW; Jack Walker & 4th Round Pick in 2020 | To Minnesota Wild
Jack Walkers been playing in the AHL with the Marlies and isn't a bad player at all. Hes collect 15 Goals, 13 Assists in 36 Games. The Leafs seem to be look to push for another Stanley Cup Finals this season, which will not involve Jack Walker in the line up as he will get his chance next year to make the Minnesota Roster.
