Cut Day

Oh my... I made the team.

So did my roomie Dave.

Wow.

It was hard, though. Brad Wellman was placed on waivers. I liked Welly. Fran Mullins was as well.

Our Opening Day Roster looks like this:

ROTATION

Atlee Hammaker
Mike Krukow
Terry Mulholland
Jeff Robinson
David Linton

Bullpen

Ron Davis (closer)
Scott Garrelts
Mark Davis
Frank Williams
Curt Brown
Pat Perry

Lineup

Rusty Priske - SS
Chris Brown - 3B
Chili Davis - CF
Rob Deer - 1B
Jeffrey Leonard - LF
Terry Harper - RF
Ken Oberkfell - 2B
Ken Smith - C

John Rabb and John Stearns are both on the roster to back up Smith until Brenly gets back.

Stearns apparently is my back up at short. Wow. They are giving me a lot of faith. We also have Eddie Vargas, John Castino,Tom O'Malley, and Sixto Lezcano, but none really play short.

You might see a lot of unexpected names. The team did so badly in spring that the front office went wild on the waiver wires.

We got ten new players, five on which are now on the main roster. Terry Harper and Ken Smith came in from Atlanta. Lezcano was on the Phillies. Vargas and Stearns were Mets.

Here we go. I am in the majors.
