I agree that it's an anomaly, and the much weaker team should have lost, and probably would, more often than not, if you did the sim 100x, or 200x or whatever...but you tried to guarantee they'd get smoked. Why?

Your suggestion about a "pre-determined result" when you manipulated one team to the point where you had virtually guaranteed the result (but got the opposite result, which I agree is a surprise) is a bit left-of-center, if you ask me.
