I've seen reports of 6 running on vista, I haven't heard of anyone trying 5 on Vista but it should work, as long as you run as an Admin on your first run. I've had no problems with vista and 2007.

since ootp is such a memory hog I could see problems with Vista and OOTP if you are running the bare min required to run vista with all the bells and whistles on. But as long as you run it as and Admin the first time you run it (or check run as admin) people have reported success with vista. The only people that have problems with it are the people that didn't like vista.
