Walkers news: May 30 -- Madison 2, St. Louis 1

Record: 24-26, 4th, 3.5 GB Cedar Rapids
Francisco Lindor snapped a tie with a two-out single off St. Louis starting pitcher Danny Duffy in the bottom of the fourth inning, and Madison went on for a 2-1 win to complete a four-game sweep at Comiskey Park (1969).
Matt Olson had drawn a one-out walk from Duffy and moved to second on a wild pitch.
Lindor followed with a single past shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria to break a 1-1 tie.
A Bo Bichette single off Madison starting pitcher Keegan Thompson in the second inning, had given St. Louis a 1-0 lead.
The Muskies tied it in the bottom of the second inning after Olson led off with a double. A ground out moved him to third and another ground out, this one from Nick Senzel, chased him across the plate.
Thompson was impressive on the mound, allowing the one run on five hits in six innings. He struck out eight and walked none.
Zach Lemond, Kyle Barraclough and Craig Knebel all threw an innings apiece to close out the win.
Knebel earned his 11th save.
Duffy was strong for St. Louis, allowing just two runs on six hits in six innings.
