Why they don't have one task bar, or, at the very least, a text warning saying it could take a few minutes, I don't know.

Okay I figured that was it. I agree that a text warning should appear. Things like (generating free agents, retiring players, retiring staff, etc) should go with the text bars even if that's not really what's going on with that said bar.
