- 3B Gareth Hill to the Paris Musketeers - versatile 24 year old infielder, but not much of a threat at the plate
- 3B Juan Robles to the Vilnius Uniters - very good hitter, but only okay defender
- CF Julien Vernet to the Athens Myrmidons - a decent defender,
- 1B Jessy Bruijn to the Ljubljana Partisans - excellent 1B out of a big pool, decent hitter
- RF Rolf Kunze to the Tallinn Sky Panthers - very good outfield, especially at RF, good speed and HR potential.
- 3B Jasny Just to the Riga Silver Griffons - very patient hitter
- CF Juan Gadea to the Malta Crusaders - huge talent and on Mr. Hummert's star list - a slight miracle he hasn't been drafted earlier.
- 3B Mohamed David to the Sofia Lions - one of the best pure hitters in the league, but how does he get such a name?
- RF Cristiano Scacceri to the Budapest Hussars - the race for even decent outfielders continues, and this one isn't even that good.
- CF Stanimir Baranowski to the Amsterdam Traders
- SP Yassin Deschamps to the London Dreadnoughts - now we can see Mr. Hummert sweat for his SP choices, Eickhoff is still on the board.
- SS Sebastiano Sacratini goes to the Antwerp Diamons - the SS pool is thining, but there still are quite a few good choices.
- CF Antoine Andrieux to the Helsinki Cavalrymen - they are going to have a very good outfield
- LF Tuure Leino to the Vienna Monarchs - also outfield-oriented
- SP Philip Pfeifer (with 2 F) to the Marseille Volunteers - not very good stamina
- RF Milojica Djurdjuvic to the Lisbon Explorers - there goes another of the prime choices.
- SP Joe Hackford to the Rotterdam Ports - very good curveball, not so good Stamina
- SP Laurent Pellerin to the Warsaw Tritons - good pitcher, good influence and only 27 years old. Not great, though.
- 3B Jose Rodriguez to the Dublin Green Giants - actually better at 1B, and good hitter. Not great either. There is sweat on Hummert's forehead. 9 more picks before it's the Miners' turn again.
- SP Theron Spyridis to the Bratislava Castellans. Very good Stamina, but pitches are average only.
- RF Jarlath Williams to the Prague Golems - excellent defender, base runner, stealer and Gap Power hitter. Why didn't he go earlier?
- CF Boris Nosal to the Copenhagen Skulls - who? Excellent Defender, decent hitter.
- SP Emiel van Elk to the Madrid Matadors - very good movement, but his pitches are subpar. What are they thinking? Eickhoff is still out there!
- LF Bryan Heler to the Berlin Eagles - very good hitter and stealer
- CF Rafael Garza to the Cyprus Beachers - excellent LF, stealer and Gap Power hitter
- SS Marco van Wensen to the Luxemburg Citadel - versatile infielder and very good contact hitter.
- 1B Eli Kvamme to the Rome Gladiators - good hitter and very intelligant 27 year old. They must see something Mr. Hummert doesn't.
- CF Christopher Ardizzone to the Stockholm Thunder - good versatile outfielder and great contact hitter. Now the Miners are up.
Basically the miners have two picks in a row, with the Impalers having drafted an OF, they are likely to go for an SP. So that gets priority.
The scouting team recommends 22 year old Greek 2B Evan Maragos. He is certainly on the list, but OSA rates him extremely low, so he is likely to stay on the board for a while.
Looking at the pitchers left, we have
- MR Joachim Becker, who is a dominant Hurler at 29, but has only very low Stamina.
- CL Xavier Bonnard has great Stamina, but only two pitches, which are off the board good.
- CL Michael Delattre could learn more than his excellent two pitches (Fastball and Slider), but his Stamina is really, really low.
- MR Michelangelo Cichio has decent Stamina, but again only two pitches, a Sinker and a Slider.
- SP Alfred Eickhoff is the best remaining Starting Pitcher and rated as Top-of-the-rotation stuff. Why didn't anybody take him yet, despite his advanced 33 years?
As anticipated, Hummert drafts Eickhoff.
The Impalers select 2B Leo Moncreiffe, continuing their weird choices.
