Not too difficult to see why the Astros are out in front, lots of early league leaders.

As for the Royals well we have won 2 in a row, just got Hebner and Fiore back from injury. As you could see Foy filled in great in Hebners absence, AO has been great from the start, in fact he garnered AL hitter of the month for April.
On the bump, Paul Splittorff and Dick Drago have been great as for the rest, so so to say the best.
