After the first month of the season, this is how things look:

Ernie Courtney (.324/.395/.353) had a six game hitting streak.

Willie Keeler (.273/.368/.545) leads the team (and league) in HRs with two.

Clark Griffith leads the pitchers at 2 – 0 with an ERA/WHIP of 2.25/1.35.

Jack Chesbro is still looking for his first win of the year.

Across town, Christy Mathewson (Pitching for the NL Giants) is leading all the majors with 33 strikeouts in 34.2 innings.
