Kansas City Royals (104-58 .642 Champions of the Pacific Coast League) at
New York Giants (92-70 .568 Champions of the National League)

The Giants are the defending Champions.

The Giants won, 8 to 2

They scored 5 times in the 6th inning and 3 times in the 8th.

NY: SP Brian Nordmann (27-R) went 8 innings, allowed 1 run, 5 hits, 2 walks, 1 HBP and struck out 6. At bat, he drew a bases-loaded walk for an RBI. 2B Danny Paul (30-R) went 3 for 3 with a double (the only XBH of the game) and 2 walks, scored a run and had 2 RBI.

KC: SP Dave Kushion (30-L) had to leave in the 1st inning with an injury. He is expected to make his next start, if there is an opportunity.
