Game 5

Atlanta Crackers (2-2 Champions of the NL West) at
New York Giants (2-2 Champions of the NL East)

ATL: Tom McCoy (26-R 15-10 2.91) vs. NY: Brian Nordmann (27-R 18-7 2.39) All-Star

The Crackers won this pitching matchup, 2 to 1, in game 1 at Atlanta.

The Giants won, 4 to 2

The game was tied at 2 until 3 hits and an intentional walk off 2-time All-Star RP John Willingham (27-R) netted the Giants a pair of runs in the bottom of the 8th.
