MIL: Larry Wicke (31-R 6-7 3.91) vs. POR: Joe Hoehn (27-R 1-4 5.81) Rookie

We have not faced Wicke this season. Last year he had one no decision and gave us 5 runs in 3.2 IP. He shut out the Royals on 4 hits in his last start.

Hoehn lost his last start, but it was his best as a Beaver this season. He allowed 1 unearned run in 6 IP on 4 H.

Andres Garcia grounds a hit to left and Lopez scores. 7 to 5, Brewers. Ayers has to suck it up... Steve Hermanson lines out to center and Flores tags up and scores. 8 to 5, Brewers. Larry McNeil grounds into a 6-4-3 double play.

3rd straight game we have knocked their starter out of the box early, but lost anyway.
