'67 Reds

Excellent question.

All the photographic evidence I've ever seen suggests the Reds wore their '61-'66 style sleeveless unis and white crown/red brim caps in Spring Training '67, then switched to the sleeved unis and red caps on Opening Day.

But this is a curious sequence of photos.

1. A group shot of '67 Reds - among them Ernie Broglio and Aurelio Monteagudo, who were only with the team in 1967 spring training. '66 style shirts.

2. The shot of Monteagudo in the '67 Reds yearbook - in a '67 uniform! I think it's possible that Monteagudo made the opening day roster (which were still 28 men in 1967 with a cutback to 25 around May 15) and that's when they photographed him. Or, there was a team-only photo day late in spring training wearing the new '67 unis.
