Poisson must have had more bouts then the 14 listed at Boxrec. It is doubtful that his pro debut was a ten-rounder against Marcel Tirel as they note. Also, he fought a number of top-shelf boxers and evidently had a fair chin and defensive skills as he was only stopped three times. Among those listed opponents that he lost to are Hans-Werner Wohlers, Dick Tiger, Giancarlo Garbelli, Gilbert Lavoine, Max Resch, Germinal Ballarin and Tirel. His two draws were with Wohlers and Lavoine. Only Ballarin, Resch and Wohlers stopped him.
