Baseball Back To The Future historical league has 1 openning

Our league started play in the 1901 season and we are currently in the off- season going into the start of 1972. That is 15 years of real life this league has been around. Several of the original group of owners are still here.

Our league is EXTREMELY laid back, and not active at all with the writing, but we do use Slack and there is a decent amount of chatter on there.

We do things custom as we are not following history 100%
1) we have 2 divisions in each league (20 teams total) and we currently have a wild card system for the post season.
2) We have a dedicated owner who hand edits all the rookies each draft class. This does cause us to have a 2 week break each off-season, but well worth it.
3) We have a majority of owners with a team in each league.
4) Teams are not all for the historical time period, as owners are allowed to take any historical team they would like if it is open.
5) A couple of foreign players come in each year also.

High level of league rules
1) national media set to 40 million for all teams with no local media
2) 110 million cap
3) cash max 12 million
4) OOTP17
5) Gate revenue split 50/50 for home/visitor team
6) We sim 3 times a week and sim 15/16 days each sim

The team that is currently open is the Minnesota Twins (again you don't have to keep the team in Minnesota if you like another historical team that is open).
They went 90-64 and were in 1st place in the AL West. losing in round two to the World Series Champions. Top players on the team include Carl Yaztremski, Denny McLain, Phil Neikro, Amos Otis, Ron Cey and Ron Santo.
