Real life has that beat.
- The visiting Brewers were up 13-4 heading into the bottom of the ninth. The home team Tigers then scored ten runs to win the game 14-13, April 25, 1901
- The visiting Indians led the Athletics 15-4 going into the bottom of the eighth inning. The Athletics then scored 13 runs in the bottom of the eighth, and held on to win the game 17-15, June 15, 1925
- The home team Dodgers led the visiting Phillies 11-3 heading into the top of the ninth inning. The Phillies scored nine runs and held on to win the game 12-11, August 21, 1990
I'm sure others can dig up even more examples.
