Although Mike Ford is currently hitting only .150 (3 for 20 through April 24) the former Princeton Tiger did get hitting his first MLB home run crossed off his "to do list". Ford hit his 1st MLB dinger on April 23. This is Ford's seventh season of pro ball and he finally reached the major leagues with the NY Yankees on Day 22 of the Yankees schedule (about three weeks into the 2019 MLB season -not counting the A's-Mariners two game series in Tokyo).

I was actually watching him play on the Cape when he signed his contract with the Yankees as he almost went back to Princeton for his senior year
