Colin Martinhook had a strong defensive game blocking five shots while also registering two shots on goal for the Predators.

GAME #71

Predators extend winning streak to four straight as offense explodes for six goals in 6-2 win over the Stars. Sean Day had a three point night while Brent Seabrook, Josh Bailey, Nicklas Backstrom, and Filip Forsberg had two point games. The top line was once again solid ending the game an impressive +3. Despite the offensive outburst, the fourth line struggled to get any sort of offensive pressure in their limited ice time.

GAME #72
Blue Jackets 4
Predators 3

Shots on Goal: 32-22

Columbus limits the Predators to just 22 shots on net, escape from Nashville with a 4-3 win ending the Predators win streak at four. The Blue Jackets exposed the Predators lack of depth taking advantage of the second and third lines for the Nashville Predators. The top line accounted for all three of the Predators goals and finished +3 for the game. Philip Holm played a solid game on the back end for the Nashville Predators ending up a +2 on the night.

GAME #73

Predators win their 5th in 6, once again holding off the Avalanche from a third period comeback. Jammu Parkkonen had a good game for the Predators throwing four hits, blocking 4 shots, and getting 4 shots on goal. Rick Nash was all over the ice for the Predators getting five shots on goal while having four other missed shot attempts. The top line for the Predators struggled to get their rhythm going managing only five shots in just over 23 minutes of even strength ice time. Brent Seabrook will reportedly miss next game with a shoulder injury. He is expected to miss 10 days.

GAME #74

Predators 2
Flames 5

Shots on Goal: 32-31

Brendan Perlini and Matt Barzal each have a goal and two assists as Predators can’t keep up to Flames offense and fall 5-2. The Flames took it to the top pairing of Jammu Parkonen and Sean Day who ended the game a combined -4. Simon Karlsson was strong filling in for Brent Seabrook as he had a goal, three shots, and blocked four shots. Jake Milan threw his weight around and ended up with a team high five hits. The line of Haula-Nash-Bailey had a rough game ending up a -2, and struggled to get any sort of offense going.

GAME #75

Predators 4
Coyotes 5 (SO)

Nicklas Backstrom was all over the ice scoring twice, and firing six shots towards the net.
