Which isn't to say you won't see some differences if you look the top prospects up, but that's mostly because sometimes one scout/report will classify a pitch as a slider and the next as a curve. It's hard to perfectly classify developing pitches a lot of the time, especially since they can look different each viewing. So we do the best we can, but sometimes different places have totally pitch types listed for prospects.
OK, thanks for the reply. I will likely do this for my personal roster anyway, but maybe just mention extreme differences I find in this thread (e.g. a touted SP prospect doesn't have a changeup in his arsenal, the velocity is way off, any other oddities if applicable).
