Walkers news: St. Louis makes a pair of roster moves

The St. Louis River Walkers have made two roster moves as they head into a three-game series against the Twin Cities Snow Cats in Minneapolis.
First, left-handed relief pitcher Tim Hill has been claimed after he was placed on waivers by Columbus.
Hill, 37, had appeared in two games for the Golden Bears this season posting an 9.00 ERA not figuring into a decision.
Going to AAA Memphis will be left-handed reliever Caleb Ferguson.
The 28-year-old Ferguson spent much of the 2024 season with the River Walkers, but struggled down the stretch.
Those issues seem to have extended into this season, as in five games he owns a 7.20 ERA.
For his career, Ferguson has worked in 53 games, owning a 3-2 record and a 3.16 ERA.
Hill has pitched 28 big league contests, going 10-13 with a 4.48 ERA and 10 saves.
Also, the Walkers announced infielder Johan Camargo has been placed on the 10-day disabled list after having to leave April 20 loss to Rockford with back spasms.
Camargo had played well in limited time for St. Louis, batting .308 with one homer and five RBIs win five games.

Coming up from AAA will be third baseman/first baseman J.T. Schwartz, who has yet to play in the majors.
In eight games with the Redbirds this season, Schwartz is batting .265 with no homers and five RBIs.
