Halton Hills Elite Bulldogs |2018/2019 Season Trades:
Anaheim's GM Bob Murray made a call to the Halton Hills Elite Bulldogs with a proposal that GM Baker has quoted with saying "A Great Addition".

Bob Murray will be sending 26, LD, Cam Fowler (GP:26, G:3, A:20, PTS:23 PIM:14, +/-: +14) to the Elite Bulldogs. In exchange, Bob Murray will require 28, RD, David Savard (AHL: GP:12, G:4, A:14, PTS:18, PIM:12, +/-: +16), also 28, LW, Mike Hoffman (AHL: GP:13, G:9, A:8, PTS:17, PIM:2, +/-: +3) & a 4th Round Draft Pick in the 2019 Entry Draft.

Bob Murray was running short of Right Defenders and noticed that the Elite Bulldogs were using him more of a relief/injury replacement on the main roster. Adding Hoffman also boosts their 2nd/3rd lines also giving them a pretty good looking roster down the stretch.

Terence Baker on the other hand sees his Defenders becoming "Strengthened" with the Addition of Fowler. Oates plans on running Fowler with Simon Despres on the second line defenders, as Alexei Emelin and Derek Forbort have been a dominating force on the first line pairing together.

2018/2019 | Season Notes/ Season Outlooks:
Players Stats:
#1 Line: #1 In the League:
The most dominating line currently in the NHL without a doubt has been Elite Bulldogs first line pairing of Kovalchuk, Saad, and Monahan. The trio were matched up in the preseason together and ever since has been a match made in heaven. Combined stats they've accomplished in 25 games together 123PTS. (G:47 A:76). Even with those stats blowing your mind, out of those points, 43 have been on the power play. (G:18 A:25).

As long as these three guys keep on doing what they're doing, we could see another clinch for this team for the playoffs without a doubt in my mind. GM Baker had much to say, but keeping it short "The guys have a chemistry you could only wish for from guys. Like in 2012 when the 70's line was dominating the NHL. We got lucky these guys have the same goals and work ethic."

When speaking to Oates, he only had this to say: "They work hard in practice, they work hard in games and that's all you can ask for. Yes they're one if not the best line right now in the NHL. They just got to keep doing what they're doing and not let the hype get to far ahead of them that they fall hard."

Bonino Who?
Nick Bonino has struggled down the stretch as he's only put up 1G, 4A for 5PTS in 22 games played. He's centering for Brendan Perlini (GP:25, G:4, A:4, PTS:8) and Bryan Rust (GP:25, G:5, A:5, PTS:10). Bonino's minutes also continue to be cut down, as he use to average 14mins a game, is now down to 10:48 Mins per game.

Offensive Threat Coming? Nah We Got This!:
Derek Forbort and Alexei Emelin have been brilliant down the stretch. The two are in the top 5 for minutes played on the team (Emelin #1, Forbort #4). Combined they've contributed to 6G, 28A, for 34PTS. Along with the rest of the defensive squad, they've contributed to the #2 lowest goals scored against in the the League for their team and look to continue the pressure with newly acquired Cam Fowler.

Goalie Stats:
Calling on Steve Mason
Manson's continued success has been amazing, but he knows that his Defenders in front are a huge helping in his current success as well. He's faced 545 shots this season in 25 games. Looking at that stat, that would be he's only averaging roughly 22 shots a game.. Meaning the Defence and Offence are really doing work for him.

Masons stats currently are 21-2-2 with a GAA of 1.83 and a SV% of .916. Also to note he's already achieved getting 4 Shutouts this season (Last season in 64 games he had 6).

Though Mason hasn't faced many shots, he's still been the backlines last defender this season and is a huge part of this teams success so far this season.
