2018/2019 | Season | 10 Games Played:
GP: 10, W: 9, L: 0, OTL: 1, PTS: 19 GF: 46, GA: 23

2018/2019 | Season Notes/ Season Outlooks:
Players Stats:
First Line Destruction:
Ilya Kovalchuk (3G, 14A, 17PTS), Sean Monahan (9G, 9A, 18PTS) and Brandon Saad (8G, 11A, 19PTS) have been the most dominating trio on the ice in the first 10 games out of the NHL. The line has contributed combined 21 Goals, 34 Assists for 54 Points... Not to mention out of those points, 20 of them have been on the Power play. This was exactly what we were talking about with Sean Monahan, a future franchise player and is proving exactly that at the age of 23. GM Terence Baker during the offseason took a risk in adding the 23yr old after a disappointing season spent in Calgary with injuries. After the long thoughts, Coach Adam Oates and GM Baker pulled the trigger and made the deal knowing it could come back to bite them. So far 10 games in, Monahan has played all 10 and is on pace for a career defining season. Not only that his two wingers are right beside him, as they're the threat it seems for teams to beat! Look out for this trio!

James Neals Performing with Andrew Shaw:
James Neal (5G, 3A, 8PTS) and Andrew Shaw (5G, 4A, 9PTS) have been together on the second line since preseason. They contributed 17PTS for the team together (10G, 7A). Nick Bonino completes the line, but seems to be struggling so far this season. He's been injured and has played 7/10 games this season so far. He's collected 1G, 3A, for 4PTS this season so far. He needs to try and keep healthy to continue contributing to the team.

Defence! Defence!:
Alexei Emelin has adapted well leaving the Las Vegas squad last season to transitioning into the Halton Hills lineup. He's played in all 10 games so far this season, collecting 7A's and is a +7 so far. He's been a huge contributor to the power play, as 5/7 of those assists have come on the power play.

Luke Schenn has done well on the second line pairings as he's come out of the gate with 3G, 4A for 7PTS this season. He's continued to prove himself as a great underrated asset and if he continues, can surpass his last season points totals (25).

Also needed mentioning [I]Derek Forbort continues to contribute from the blue line. He's Manson's saviour when it gets crazy in the front of the net. Not only that he's been helping out on the offense with 1G and 3A. Expect him to continue to push himself as the season moves on.

Goalie Stats:
10 Games, 10 Starts?!
Steve Mason's been a workhorse for the Elite Bulldogs. Coach Adam Oates has kept the decision of starting Mason, due to the fact he's performing well. Currently his record is 9 Win, 0 Losses, 1OTL and has only allowed 23 Goals on 219 shots (GAA: 2.28, SV%: .895). His save percentage is a little below average, but he's done what is needed to keep his team's record going.

Expect Al Montoya get some starts down the stretch. Even the Coach knows not to over play his starting goalie.
