The Quebec Snake Eyes Series

Call it a three day pitching clinic because that's what it was. The Paris Artists traveled to Canada to take on the team that leads the Canadian League (tied with Ottawa) and leads all of the FBL in home runs.

By the time that the Artists headed to the train station for their trip to St. Michel the fans in Quebec were wondering just how did it happen. The Artists SP's were named player of the game each game. Julien Henri, the only pitcher to not pitch a complete game (8 innings), added offense to his effort going 3 for 5 with 2 runs batted in from the lead off position. We have not seen Henri in the one spot in a number of years but he made the bench coach look like a genius.

Laurant Mercier, given the day off for the final game of the set, continues to terrorize FBL pitchers as picked up 3 hits in 6 AB's including a home run. In one of the few outs that Laurant made in game 2, a ground ball double play, still scored Michel from third base for the games only run.

In the final game it was Lamy driving a ball to left centerfield wall that scored speedster Nao Yamada all the way from first base.

Paris has won 7 in a row and now have a .667 winning percentage.
