My Question:
If I were to set up a match between two teams from the eras mentioned above, the team from 2010 would beat the 1875 team 999 out of 1000 games, right? I know we've all had that conversation/argument, "Could Player X put up those same numbers in modern baseball?" I can't imagine a scenario where the 2010 team loses unless some ungodly bad luck befalls the 2010 team.
Has anyone tried this? If yes, what were the outcomes?
