The Artists dominated play during the three game series that was highlighted by a 21 run middle game that saw them score 20 of their runs in two innings. Berno Proust, on the bubble for the high speed train to St. Nazaire, had a huge slump breaking game that earned him player of the game award. He went 3 for 4, scored 3, and batted in 3. When you score 21 runs there are no shortage of POG candidates. Three team records were set in the one sided debacle.

In the final game of the set the Artists outhit the Waves 10 to 4 but lost the game. The 4 run first inning did in Merlin. After retiring the lead off batter he hit 2 batters, gave up a pair of singles, worked a walk in there and just like that it was 4-0 Waves. The Artists cut it to a one run game but never could catch up. They settle for 2/3.

In Nice, it was a clean sweep of the visiting Le Diamant Diamonds in three close games. This allowed the Orchids to take a one game lead in the France division. The Anse d'Arlet Sting Rays take over first in Martinique with a 2 game lead over the Diamonds and the Toucans. The Waves, at 9-22, are 9 games back.
