The Hickory Baseball league is seeking an active owner to take the reins of the San Diego Padres as it enters its 46th season of play. Starting in June of 2001 (with the 2001 season), the HBL is currently headed towards its 11th year of play in the in-game year of 2046. We have many owners that have been with the league for 30+ seasons, including a few original owners. Sadly, one of these original owners is now departing.
The San Diego franchise finished 83-79 this past season. After winning 3 division titles at the beginning of the decade, they fell back a bit before narrowingly missing the playoffs in this last season. They have 4 National League pennants, but no championships to speak of.
We have just converted to OOTP 13 and sim 4 times a week (Sun/Tue/Thu/Fri).
