May 19 -- Springfield 9, St. Louis 6

Record: 21-19, 2nd (Tied/w. Springfield), 3.5 GB Kansas City
Down 5-3, Springfield scored three times in the bottom of the sixth inning to take the lead and went on for a 9-6 win over St. Louis at Olympic Stadium.
The River Walkers had taken the lead in the top of the sixth on a three-run homer from Nicky Delmonico.
Two batters into the bottom half of the inning, the Prairie Fighters had tied it when Max Schrock hit a two-run homer off St. Louis starter Brandon Spagnuolo.
Not much later, Springfield had the lead after Andres Jimenez drew a walk from Felipe Vazquez and scored on a two-out triple from Anthony Alford off John Curtiss.
The Fighters piled it on late in the game against the St. Louis bullpen.
Nate Larnach hit a solo homer off Bobby Poyner in the seventh.
J.P. Crawford and Freddie Freeman had RBI singles off Brad Hand in the eighth.
Springfield starter Wade Mliley worked five innings, allowing two runs on four hits.

Six relievers followed him to the mound.
Hunter Strickland (0.1 IP) and Matt Barnes (0.2) handled the sixth inning.
Ryan Pressley, Alex Claudio and Gerson Moreno all went an inning apiece to close it out.
The victory went to Barnes, his first of the season. Moreno earned his ninth save.
