2073 AL Boyce Rigg Award (MVP): 1B Austin Rollins (Seattle Sounders, 27, 6th overall pick out of Ohio State in 2067. The 27-year-old veteran scorched the opposition with a .343 average, picking up 220 hits, 20 doubles, no triples, 41 home runs and 133 RBIs, while scoring 130 runs.
2073 NL Boyce Rigg Award (MVP): 3B Jason Spears (Orlando City, 25, 3rd overall pick out of Auburn in 2070). On the season he compiled a .341 batting average to go with a .390 on-base percentage. The native of Clinton, Indiana also added 29 doubles, 7 triples, 18 home runs, 103 RBIs and 96 runs scored.
2073 AL Vic Pacheco Award (Top Pitcher): SP Bradley Hughes (Seattle Sounders, 25, 2nd overall pick out of Michigan State in 2070). Hughes compiled a 20-6 record in 33 starts, tallied 331 strikeouts in 251.2 innings and recorded a 2.32 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .218 batting average against him.
2073 NL Vic Pacheco Award (Top Pitcher): SP Ferdinand Loving (Montreal Impact, 29, 16th overall pick out of Georgia Tech in 2066). He started 33 times, threw 256.1 innings while collecting 262 strikeouts and fashioned a 2.81 ERA. Loving allowed only 221 hits, 54 walks and a .230 opponents' batting average.
