ECHL not enough prospects

I haven't seen this exact problem (similar problems, yes, but not the exact same) addressed in the forum, so I'm starting a new thread. Here's my situation:

GM of the Atlanta Gladiators (ECHL — parent teams are Providence and Boston). Whenever the parent clubs send me players, the AI automatically refashions the 20-man roster to make sure all of the players under contract to Providence and Boston are present and guys under contract to Atlanta get bumped into the semi-pro league. Fair enough.

But I have to have at least 14 guys under 26 years old or I can't continue the game. And I am now at a point where Providence and the Bruins have dumped a lot of unwanted veterans on me, and I can't fix the situation by jiggering the guys who are under contract to Atlanta. Thanks to the parent clubs, I have too many old guys on the roster and there's nothing obvious that I can do about it.

Any solutions?
