Al Ladd was acquired by the Canadiens in a trade with the Blackhawks for 20 year old
Chris Wharram. Wharram was the Canadiens 53rd overall pick in the 1981 NHL Entry Draft. Wharram is still young but with a great upside, he has 24 points in 70 games this season.
