Basic Logo Customization Info

Here is some logo customization info, courtesy of jdew:

Note: When changing graphics, exit OOTP. If OOTP is running it isn't going to pick up all the changes you've made.

Logos and Player Photos
IRFANVIEW conversion works just fine. Convert bmps to png format, no special options or parameters needed.

Naming convention is cityname_teamname, so if the team is "Traverse City Iron Men" the file is "Traverse City_Iron Men.png". Periods "." or special
characters are not allowed in the filename, so no "St. Louis", use "St Louis" instead. Also, you can have a league logo. The naming convention is just league name.png so for "Pacific League" its just "Pacific League.png"... no sub leagues, though (You can have Major League Baseball but no logos for American League or National League.)

The logos go in this folder:

OOTP Baseball 2006\data\saved games\MYLEAGUE.LG\news\html\images

Player photos also go in this folder.

Player photos are jpg now, not bmp.

If you want to modify the default player photo, modify or replace the
default_player_photo file in the above mentioned league's images folder.
Same if you want to modify the red SION header and footer (menu, menu_wide and si_logo_bottom).

Also note there is a tie_batter and tie_pitcher graphic. This is used in the
leaderboard displays when there is a tie for the lead. These too can be
replaced or altered.

Team Colors
Team's Home Page - Options & Ballparks - where to set team's color & text color (use the hex code for the color).

If you don't know the hex value of the color get the RGB value in your
graphics editor and this page

http://drpeterjones.com/colorcalc/

will translate RGB values to hex values for you. Enter in the RGB values on
the upper right box, click calculate and the Hex code will be displayed in
the upper left box.
