There really shouldn't be any more trades in this scenario, which starts in August. I think for the purposes of this what if, I would turn them off completely.
I know I had one play test where the Indians traded Kenny Lofton on the last day of the season despite being a playoff team. I don't think we want to see any of that. We just want to know whether the Indians or the Expos were better that year
