STL - 4 WPG - 3 The Blues playing their second away game in as many nights fell behind early 3 - 1 to the Jets in the first periodbut then held them scoreless the rest of the game, with First Star RW TJ Oshie (8.0a/8.0a)having a two point night (1G/1A) providing the tying goal early in the third period. C David Backes (8.0b/8.0b) who received a 5 minute major for illegal check in the shootout scored on the first shot in OT and the Jets missed all three opportunities. (Note Shootout again allowed 7th Blues shooter when majority score was already reached in six shooters)
ARZ - 2 ANA -6 The Ducks stormed out to a four goal first period and never looked back. D Cam Fowler (8.0c/8.5c) had an excellent night (1G/3A) getting First Star for his efforts.

Other NHL news;
BOS D Torey Krug (7.5a/8.0a) was placed on the IR for an upper body inury and rinkside spectators at practice report he was struck in the arm by an errant puck. No timetable on his return is available.
