We are in San Francisco to play 4 games through the weekend. They just split a pair here with Hollywood. We split 4 games with them in Portland, May 17-20. They are 3rd in the PCL in scoring with 4.86 runs per game even though AT&T Park is a tough place to hit (Portland is 15th with 3.89 even though Multnomah County Stadium is a nice place to hit). The Seals are 3rd in fewest runs allowed with 3.83 per game (Portland is down to 9th and out of the top half just as I prophesied with 4.50).

Portland Beavers (28-36 .438 15.5 GB in 7th place in the PCL West) at
San Francisco Seals (38-27 .585 6 GB in 2nd place in the PCL West)

POR: Rex Williams (24-R 1-2 3.00) Rookie vs. SF: Dave Batts (34-R 5-5 4.45)

Williams got his 1st Major League win last time out with 1 unearned run allowed in 6 IP.

We lost to Batts the only time we faced him, scoring 2 run in 8 innings.
