But the Walkers went to work against Stevens in the seventh.

Andrelton Simmons then greeted reliever Leo Vazquez with a double, scoring Bichette making it 3-2.
In the eighth, a single by Tyler Esplin followed by a pair of walks, all issued by Vazquez, loaded the bases with one out.
Zach Britton took the mound and got a strike out Bo Bichette, but Nicky Delmonico followed with an RBI single to tie it.
An Andrelton Simmons single plated two more, pushing the Walkers in front 5-3.
St. Louis starter Alex Faedo went the first six innings, allowing three runs on eighth hits.
John Curtiss, Phil Maton and Tommy Kahnle all went a scoreless inning apiece to close it out.
Maton earned his first win while Kahnle notched his second save.
