Hi and welcome!

I started to answer this, and then I realized I may have misunderstood. So, what you're saying is that you want to use real life MLB players and teams, but you want to do a fantasy draft at the beginning and go from there. Is that correct?

I wasn't clear if you were saying you wanted nothing to do with MLB and wanted to create your own fictional world.
