Kansas City pounded St. Louis ace Aaron Nola for five runs on 10 hits over 10 innings to pave the way for a 9-3 win over the River Walkers at Busch Stadium (1997).

Kansas City broke it open with a five-run sixth.
Nola was there for part of it, allowing singles to Yordan Alvarez, Willy Adames and Brett Phillips to open the inning.

After striking out pitcher Shelby Miller for the first out.
Tyler Wade followed with a grand slam, after that the Masters led 7-0.
The Walkers climbed three runs closer in the sixth after Rhys Hoskins hit a three-run homer off K.C. reliever Rafael Lopez.
