This is a great change, but I'm wondering if it would be possible to make this for your team only? On July 1 I received over 100 messages of every scout/trainer that had retired from every single NHL franchise. Knowing that some other team's scout has retired isn't really much use to the player information wise. I do really like the change though, nice to know when you have a staff position that needs to be filled, especially assistant coaches.
