In a move of perhaps desperation the Royals have added some "leadership" to their club, or at least, some seniority
They shipped Chuck Harrison and Dave Wickersham to the Phillies for Ernie Banks and George Brunet. We certainly got older, but, saved a little bit of coin. Banks will be playing first with Fiore out, freeing up Oliver to help in the much maligned OF.
We also now have 3 veterans to come check out on their milestone marches
