Series: Stanley Cup Finals
The Dynasty of the Halton Hills Elite Bulldogs continued strong as they went into Washington and won not one, but both their series openers against the Capitals in dominating factor. Game One: 3-1 and Game Two: 6-2. The Elite Bulldogs feeling strong about their home record this playoffs had a lot of confidence. Washington took Game 3 by a tight margin and brought themselves back into the series with their 2-1 win. Game 4 went back to the Elite Bulldogs as they gave their home fans something to cheer about with a 5-3 win.

Games 5 & 6 were Washington's do or die games which by ending scores were literally that as both games were won by 1 goal differences and scored in the 3rd periods as Washington won Game 5: 3-2 and Game 6: 4-3. Which meant we would go to a game seven to determine who would lift the Stanley Cup this year!

Washington having home ice advantage in the game 7 had the fan advantage. Luckily the Elite Bulldogs were able to quiet the home fans early, scoring 2/4 of their goals in the first period. The Capitals were able to collect an early goal into the second period to keep hopes alive, but it was at 14:36 of the second period where the Elite Bulldogs would score their 3rd goal on the game and one more in the 3rd period to become the 2017/2018 Stanley Cup Champions!
