I've never seen a situation like what you posted in your pic. If a player wanted $30 M per year, there's no way he's even listening to $10 M a year.

It literally happens every single time, man. The AI controlled teams ALWAYS get the guy you wanted for a much cheaper price.
That's why I have moved exclusively to multiplayer.
