To better clarify my thoughts on the matter, I have an opinion very similar to waittilnextyear. I don't care what any of the stats actually tell me about past performance. I simply prefer to have the stats only reflect my own personal experiences with the card.

WTH, why did I remembered I have read a window that said all stats will be removed upon deactivation when I went to deactivate a card. Must be me dreaming.

I am cool with a button to erase previous stats as long as it's a button that is optional. I don't want to erase mine and I think letting players have the choice is always better than forcing 100% into one option.
