Walkers news: April 26 -- St. Louis 7, Kansas City 4

Down 4-3, St. Louis scored four times in the top of the ninith inning to grab a 7-4 win over the Kansas City Pit Masters at Municipal Stadium.
Masters reliever Brendan Morrow struck out Jedd Gyorko to open the inning, but had to leave the game with an abdominal injury.
Out of relief pitchers, they had used seven since Yonni Chirinos left in the fifth inning, the Masters were forced to press outfielder Allen Cordoba into action on the mound.

It did not work out well.
The first three batters he faced all reached -- two walks and a single -- to load the bases.
Michael Conforto hit into a fielder's choice, Albert Almora being retired at the plate for the second out.
However, Tucker Barnhart drew a bases-loaded walk to tie the game. Nicky Delmonico followed with a two-run single, putting St. Louis ahead 6-4.
Adeiny Hechavarria followed with another single, making it 7-4.
Keone Kela pitched a 1-2-3 ninth to earn his sixth save of the season.
St. Louis led 3-2 in the bottom of the fourth, when Aaron Altherr hit a two-run homer off Trevor Bauer to give Kansas City a 4-3 lead.
