Update #5 : Fargo Dinosaurs crowned 2028 PEBA Champs!
Turns out, the
Fargo Dinosaurs, led for a 21st season by GM Cristian Shofar, not only won their first ever playoff series, they won ALL their playoff series!
The Dinos made it past the youthful
Neo-Tokyo Akira 4-games-to-2 in the Sovereign League Championship, and faced the formidable
West Virginia Alleghenies in the finals, led by veteran GM Greg Abcarian.
Despite West Virginia winning game 1 of the finals, the Dinosaurs stormed back with 4 straight wins, 7-5. 7-3, 5-3 and 8-5 to capture their first ever PEBA title!

Lorenzo Castanieda was named Finals MVP, while the ageless legend Rob Raines was the MVP of the League Championship, aged 43! Word on the street is that
Raines, who turns 44 next September, has no plans to retire yet!
